GRADING FEEDBACK

GRADING FEEDBACK

Postby Sensei A Kidby » Tue Mar 09, 2010 11:40 am

Having slighly modified the way we now take gradings I would apreciate some feedback and thoughts.
Please give me your opinions on how you think things went.
Students taking a grading and Dan-grades assisting at it will have a different perspective,
but both view points are valid and valuable in constantly improving CFTS.

Sensei I certainly feel that the new format allows spectators & students alike to see the type of progression at each stage for the various belts.
Perhaps we need to agree a maximum number per group for a table as 2 Sensei's sat scoring plus one directly running the calling sequence & any demonstrations required can make it seem a little unstructured & more difficult to provide personal feedback

I am sure the timing sequences will speed up a little as everyone gets more familiar with the format
I love the new venue now it is finished

I may be a bit late with this reply, hope it's still valid.
as a spectator it is much better, although having been a spectator for a number of years now I come prepared with books, newspapers and flasks! After this weekend there should only be one more for me to attend.

Good luck to all grading this weekend, especially George. 8)
