The Bedford and Bletchley area kyu gradings were held recently. It was a good turnout at both venues and the standards were high.
Congratulations go out to all that passed - if you received comments on your grading, whether good or bad, take them on board and work on them positively when you return to your dojo. Just because you are now a higher grade does not mean that you can slow down your training; now is the time to step up that training and begin preparations for the next grading!
AREA TROPHY WINNERS
The area trophies were awarded to a member of each club. Trophies are awarded for many different reasons, attendance, punctuality, etiquette, dedication, attitude, perseverance to name but a few. Maybe you helped a fellow karateka, helped inside or outside the dojo, have overcome a difficult situation, there are many reasons. If you did not win the trophy this time, congratulate the person that did and continue in your efforts to be a good karate student.
