chui	warning
chukoku	warning in a competition. First Category 1 or 2 warning without penalty
encho-sen	extension of the bout
hansoku	This is imposed following a very serious infraction in a competition or when a hansoku chui has already been given. It results in the disqualification of the contestant.
hansoku chui	this is a penalty in a competition, in which nihon (two points) is added to the opponent's score
hantei	decision
hiki wake	a draw in a bout
ippon	full point
jogai chui	warning for leaving the area
kamai	on guard
keikoku	this is a penalty in a competition; one point is added to the opponent's score
manaka ni haite	come to the centre of the contest area
moto no ichi	return to original positions
mubobi	self endangerment during a bout
nihon	two points in a bout
rei	bow
shiai	contest
shiai jo	contest area
