Kyu Gradings - June 2014

Writer's picture: Renshi KidbyRenshi Kidby

Congratulations to all students who passed their kyu gradings!

The weeks following the grading should not be viewed as rest periods - your training should continue regardless, remember Funakoshi Sensei's words on karate being like boiling water. Visit your dojo as often as possible and practice, as the work for your next grading has begun already. To progress, from yellow belt onwards, a student should be attending twice a week.

For those students who were awarded the quarterly trophy it was a real red-letter day. The trophies, as always, were given out for a multitude of different reasons.

The trophy winners for this quarter were;

CLUB TROPHY WINNER

AMPTHILL Alex Gilbertson

BLETCHLEY Matt Eagles

BRICKHILL Michael Clarke

BUSHFIELD Harry Wiginton

CEDARS Ben Pagington

CLAPHAM Toby Cox

KEMPSTON Suzy Mead

NEWPORT PAGNELL Paul Comb

NEWTON LONGVILLE Lauren Cartwright

WOLVERTON Karina Talibzanova

DON'T FORGET!

The next course is on Saturday July 12th at 14:30 - Shihan Sahota's Kata and Bunkai course.

Make a note of the date and be there!
