Saturday 8th March was the Milton Keynes area kyu grading, held at Knowles Primary School, Bletchley. Many hopeful students had trained hard, and although there were clearly nerves on display (in students and supporters alike!) everyone demonstrated great spirit and good technique.
Gradings went well, with the lowest grades demonstrating their learning first, followed by two further groups that culminated in students working to attain brown belts, brown and white belts and, in one case, a brown and red belt.
Many congratulations to everyone who graded - keep up the training and the good spirit! Many thanks also to the dan grades who worked to ensure that the gradings went smoothly and that every student was given the opportunity to show their best self.
Trophy winners have not yet been awarded for the Milton Keynes area clubs, except for Newton Longville School - congratulations Henry B!
